Asbury Youth & Children

"But Jesus called for them and said, “Let the little children come to me,  and do not stop them; ​for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs."  Luke 18:16

SUNDAYS: 

• Nursery*:  Nursery is currently available on the 1st floor of the Education Building during the Sunday worship service. (*We also have a "Mother's Quiet Room" available near the Sanctuary.)

• Sunday School : Each Sunday parents can sign in their children upstairs in the Children's Wing of the Education Building for Sunday school, which is from 9:00-9:45 a.m..   We are excited to provide engaging lessons that are formatted around relatable Scripture references, memory verses, and Bible themes for children in Preschool through 5th grade.

• ​Children's Church: (Preschool-5th grade) Children's Church is currently available during the 10:00 a.m. worship service on Sundays.  An invitation is given during the worship service for the children to dismiss to attend Children's Church. Children will participate in active, fun and engaging lessons that are geared for just for their age.

WEDNESDAYS:

• Trackers of Truth - (Preschool-6th grade)  Join us Wednesdays from 5:30–7:30 p.m. for a fun evening of faith, fellowship, and learning! A snack supper is provided at 5:30, followed by Bible lessons, games, and activities. 

CONFIRMATION CLASS: 

 Confirmation Classes – 6th Grade.  Each year, 6th graders are invited to participate in Confirmation classes at Asbury Church. Confirmation is an opportunity to respond to God’s grace, acknowledge our baptism, and make a commitment to live as followers of Christ.

A Confirmation Service is held annually for those who wish to profess their faith and become members of the church. If your child would like to participate in upcoming Confirmation classes, please contact Mrs. Jackie Franks or the church office for more information.

  At Asbury Youth, our mission statement says it best, "Inviting people into the movement of God among us." Come be a part of a vibrant fellowship of young people seeking and serving the Lord Jesus! (Grades 7-12). Asbury Youth meets regularly on Sundays & Wednesdays, and provides many other fellowship and ministry opportunities throughout the year.

SUNDAYS: 

• Sunday school:  9:00-9:45 a.m., meets upstairs in room #204 of the Education Building.
• Youth Service:  5:30 – 7:00 p.m., in the Family Life Center.  Youth enjoy a meal,  games & fellowship beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by a Bible study from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

WEDNESDAYS:

• Youth Service:  5:30-7:30 p.m., in the Family Life Center.  A snack supper is provided at 5:30 p.m., Youth Service is from 6:00-7:00 p.m., followed with "hang time" from 7:00-7:30 p.m.
