FOOD PANTRY

 The Asbury Food Pantry is open to anyone in need of assistance and we are also currently distributing USDA*  items to those who qualify. The distribution is on the THIRD Thursday of each month from 8:00-10:00 a.m. and is currently being offered as a "drive-thru" service.  Participants are asked to line up in the Family Life Center parkin

 The Asbury Food Pantry is open to anyone in need of assistance and we are also currently distributing USDA*  items to those who qualify. The distribution is on the THIRD Thursday of each month from 8:00-10:00 a.m. and is currently being offered as a "drive-thru" service.  Participants are asked to line up in the Family Life Center parking lot located at 15 W.  El Paso Street, and to please be courteous in regard to not blocking our neighbors' driveways.  


  • ​Inclement Weather Policy: 
    • Whenever the Greenwood Public Schools close for inclement weather, Asbury Church will also be closed.  If a closing falls on a regular distribution date, the Food Pantry distribution will be moved to the following Thursday.

  • Donations to help support the Food Pantry ministry may be made online via our "Giving" tab.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the   Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:

Through Arms Around Greenwood, volunteers have helped with various projects in the community, provided shoes, supplies and haircuts for school aged children, fidget quilts for local nursing homes, packed meals for the  Food Bank, provided tissues and hand sanitizer for our local schools, and more.

The church's annual Pumpkin Patch occurs every October. The Patch not only benefits our customers with beautiful mums and a a variety of great pumpkins and gourds, but it also helps to raise funds for missions work in the local community. Your purchases and donations help to make a difference in the community. Thank you for your continued

The church's annual Pumpkin Patch occurs every October. The Patch not only benefits our customers with beautiful mums and a a variety of great pumpkins and gourds, but it also helps to raise funds for missions work in the local community. Your purchases and donations help to make a difference in the community. Thank you for your continued support!  

  • Field Trips may be scheduled by contacting the church office. 
  • Patch Hours are: 
    • Saturdays  10-7 p.m.
    • Sundays 12-5 p.m.
    • Mondays-Fridays 2-7 p.m.
  • Pricing will be posted at the Patch.
  • Cash and Online Payments are accepted.

The Asbury Christmas Toy Closet provides a brighter Christmas for local children in need.   The church coordinates with our local school counselors to help parents and guardians who need assistance in providing toys for their children at Christmas. Through donations from Asbury Church members and others in our community, the Christmas Toy

The Asbury Christmas Toy Closet provides a brighter Christmas for local children in need.   The church coordinates with our local school counselors to help parents and guardians who need assistance in providing toys for their children at Christmas. Through donations from Asbury Church members and others in our community, the Christmas Toy Closet provides assistance to dozens of families annually.
